I don't agree with deceit ever giving pleasure, but I agree in a sense that if you can change your outlook on someone deceiving you, you will get through life a bit easier. I'm not saying to expect everyone to deceive you, but rather, view it as something that cannot always be helped, and may have actually been your own fault to begin with in your choice of interaction with certain people. Shake your head and laugh with an "oh.. u got me, haha" attitude and move on. I understand this is nearly impossible for most people to do, but remember happiness has more to do with how you react to situations, than what actually happened. So, keep some salt around...
